Transport & Fleet Update

Transport Operations & Fleet Update

“Your commitment to safe and reliable transport for aged care clients and those with disabilities makes a real difference in their lives. You’re not just driving — you’re connecting people to their communities and essential services. Your patience, empathy, and professionalism are deeply valued.”

LINK remains a key part of keeping our most vulnerable clients connected to the wider community.
We’re proud of our growth — both as individuals and as an organisation — and we appreciate the role each of you plays in our success.

Recent Highlights

  • Quarterly Driver Meetings were held in Thomastown and Hoppers Crossing last month.
  • A big thank you to everyone who attended — we’ll catch up with those who couldn’t join us at our next meetings in October 2025.
  • Meeting recap: All drivers should have received an email with the minutes and PowerPoint slides. Here’s a PDF version of the presentation.
  • We’ve received excellent suggestions and feedback, and work is underway to implement them.

Continuous Reminders

Safety & Conduct

  • Safety first — on the road, when assisting clients, and in the workplace.
  • Report all near misses and incidents promptly (submit an Incident Form).
  • Maintain professional boundaries at all times.

Vehicles & Parking

  • Park only in the gravel area — not in front of or behind the office.
  • Clean vehicle interiors daily.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports.

Office & Procedures

  • Tick the IN/OUT form (Thomastown).
  • Double-tap to activate the alarm when exiting after hours.
  • Wear your full uniform at all times.
  • Follow all road rules to avoid fines or incidents.
  • Call Alna if returning to the office after 5:30 pm.

Thank you for the care, patience, and professionalism you bring every day.
Every trip matters — and together, we’re keeping our clients safe, connected, and supported.
