Support at home

Help with financial support and eligibility rules

We identify and deliver the services that best fit your needs – and help source available funding and eligibility for those in financial need.

How we can help

No funding? Self Funded? Already registered? Just starting now? With another provider? Feel like you are missing out? Just plain confused!….

All of Melbourne PLUS

LINK operates Victoria’s largest Community Transport fleet, serving most of Metro Melbourne, growth corridors and select regional locations from seven community hub / depot locations.

Helper services are provided by our thriving volunteer communities supported by professional staff. LINK is not a referral service. We’re here to help. We’ll help you get through the eligibility rules. We’ll help you find hidden support you’re missing out on. We’ll help you adjust your support as your needs change. We’ll help you get the best, and most appropriate services for the support that’s available. We deliver, not just recommend. Provided directly by LINK, or carefully managed through trusted partners, we’ll provide you with the services you need throughout the journey. We’re here to help.

Care in community

We’re here to help.

LINK’s helper community is our greatest asset. A huge number of our helpers are volunteers who are supporting you because they care.

They are proudly making the world a better place – donating their time to make a Community of Care a reality. Our volunteers’ generous gift allows LINK to provide far more help than government pays for. Governments spend billions. Real support comes from community helping community. Our volunteer helpers are augmented with professional, trained and accredited cares who can take support to the next level for clients with higher levels of need. LINK is one team, working together with partners, family and friends, health practitioners, aged and disability specialists, and government partners to make Melbourne the worlds best community for all. We love you all. We thank you all.

LINK – making a difference to people’s lives every day

Wellbeing at home

We’re here to help.

LINK serves to help you remain safe, happy and healthy in your own home – living well – connected to services and community.

Living well at home needs a village of support. LINK connects you to an Integrated Community of Care of volunteers, services, transport, health systems, outings, and friendships. Care at home is more than what happens within four walls. It is the small things as well as the big things. Someone to share a meal with, or someone worth going for a walk with. Help getting out of the house with friends, or help through the maze of a hospital visit. It’s changing fit-for-purpose services to be the best you can be on a 30 year journey from active retirement onwards. LINK keeps you well, supports your needs, and helps avoid small incidents becoming larger problems.

LINK celebrates the richness of diversity of everyone in our community, for all people in equal measure. We celebrate, respect and embrace diversity of language, culture, gender plurality, and the joy of individual personality, interests and expression that makes us each who we are. We celebrate life.
