Domestic Assistance & Home Maintenance Update

It’s been a wonderful couple of months in the Domestic Assistance and Home Maintenance department, and I wanted to take a moment to celebrate the people who made it happen.

Weathering the Storm — Literally

Despite several days of heavy rain and stormy weather, our Home Maintenance crew kept showing up and getting the job done, making sure none of our clients’ services were disrupted. Gardening and maintenance work isn’t always easy in the rain, and their commitment to keeping things running smoothly for our elderly clients didn’t go unnoticed. A big shout-out to the team for their resilience and reliability.

Consistency, Rain or Shine

A special mention also goes to our cleaners and contractor cleaners, who have continued to deliver outstanding service to our clients — including stepping up to cover shifts whenever a colleague has called in sick. Delivering consistent, reliable care to our clients is one of our biggest goals as a department, and it’s only possible because of the dedication our field workers bring to work every single day. Thank you for everything you do — it really does make a difference.

Hitting Our Targets

I’m proud to share that our department has consistently hit its targets over the past couple of months. A huge thank-you goes to Manik and Lina, whose hard work behind the scenes in the office keeps everything running smoothly and makes these results possible.

Welcoming New Faces

A warm shout-out to our newest team members, Dipesh and Vicky, who have hit the ground running since joining us — jumping in to help out during our busiest days. It’s fantastic to see new team members settle in and make an impact so quickly.

Above and Beyond

Last but not least, a big thank-you to our Home Maintenance crew for lending a hand with the office move and helping set up our new space. It’s not part of the day-to-day job, but the team pitched in without hesitation — a great reminder of the team spirit we have here.

Looking Ahead

None of this would be possible without the hard work, flexibility, and care shown by everyone across the department — office staff, cleaners, contractors, and the maintenance crew alike. As we move into the next few months, let’s keep that same spirit going: supporting one another, staying consistent for our clients, and taking pride in the work we do every day.
