As we approach the end of another financial year, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on what has been a busy and rewarding couple of months for LINK.
During May and June, our teams continued to demonstrate their commitment to delivering high-quality services while preparing for several important initiatives. We successfully completed our NDIS Mid-Term Audit, with positive outcomes that reflect the dedication and professionalism of our staff.
Over the past two months, a key focus has been preparing for the implementation of our updated fee schedule from 1 July 2026. This has involved updating service agreements, communication materials, system pricing, and supporting documentation to ensure our services are ready for the new financial year. I have also been working closely with the Department and our software providers to improve DEX reporting and My Aged Care ID data quality, helping to strengthen our reporting processes and ensure ongoing compliance with funding requirements.
One of the highlights of May was our annual Multicultural Celebration, which brought together clients, volunteers, staff, students, and community members for a wonderful day celebrating the diversity that makes LINK such a special organisation. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event.
Looking ahead, one of our major priorities for the new financial year will be the implementation of our Quality Management System (QMS) for all field staff. This initiative will provide easier access to policies and procedures, improve quality and compliance processes, strengthen communication, and support more consistent service delivery across the organisation.
As we close another successful financial year, I would like to sincerely thank our staff, volunteers, students, Board members, and community partners for your hard work, dedication, and ongoing support. Every achievement this year has been possible because of your commitment to providing exceptional care and services to our community.
