It has been a busy and productive period across LINK, with teams working hard to finalise the July–December 2026 Outings Brochure. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this together and supporting the planning, coordination and communication required to deliver such an important program for our clients.
We also acknowledge that the recent fee increase has created some confusion for clients. There have been important lessons learnt from this process, particularly around the timing and clarity of communication. To support clients and staff, an information sheet with frequently asked questions will be distributed to clients and made available in the office.
LINK recently held a successful Multicultural Day, celebrating the diversity of our community and the people we support. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognise culture, connection and inclusion across the organisation.
We are also pleased to share that LINK has successfully achieved re-registration with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission for a further three-year period, commencing today. This is a significant achievement and reflects the commitment of staff, volunteers and leadership to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
In the coming weeks, a new Assessment and Intake Form will also be implemented. This will support more consistent client information gathering, improve service coordination and strengthen our intake and assessment processes.
Thank you to everyone for your ongoing hard work, professionalism and commitment to supporting LINK clients and our community.
