From an operational perspective, December was an extremely busy and highly successful period, particularly with the planning and delivery of the Christmas Party and several large-scale outings. These activities required extensive coordination across multiple teams, and I am pleased to report that they were delivered smoothly, safely and to a high standard. The Christmas Party on 18 December was a standout success, with a record 370 clients attending. Seeing clients enjoying themselves through dancing, singing and shared celebration was a wonderful outcome of the collective effort involved. (We are still collating all the pics from the event, so we’ll share more in the new year).
We received very positive feedback from clients, both about the event itself and about the ongoing impact of our Group Social Support programs. Reflecting on the year as a whole, the program has performed strongly, meeting outing targets and continuing to grow in popularity within the community. This growth reflects the quality, care and consistency of services delivered across LINK.
I would like to sincerely thank all teams across Link Community and Transport, including staff and volunteers working in the field and in the office. The success of our programs relies on strong collaboration between operations, social support, transport, intake, administration, compliance and leadership teams. Every team and every role plays a vital part in delivering positive outcomes for our clients, and I would like to acknowledge and thank everyone for their dedication, professionalism and ongoing commitment to making LINK what it is today.
Warm Wishes to you and your family this Holiday Season!
