Home Maintenance & Domestic Assistance Update

Over the summer period, our Home Maintenance (HM) teams have been fully booked and actively supporting our clients. Recent weather conditions have led to particularly rapid grass growth, resulting in continued high demand for HM services. To help meet this demand and maintain service continuity, we have partnered with a trusted subcontractor to support our HM teams. To manage this effectively, our scheduling operates on a four-week cycle, helping to evenly distribute appointments and maintain client satisfaction.

For those who may not be aware, our services operate within a limited scope under our government funding arrangements. Our primary focus is to ensure properties remain safe and tidy. From a safety and presentation perspective, our gardening teams work hard to keep walkways clear, remove potential hazards, and carry out essential weeding and pruning to maintain a neat environment.

It has been wonderful to see our teams consistently receiving client ratings of 4 and 5 out of 5, along with heartfelt messages expressing how much clients appreciate the positive impact on their homes. Seeing their gardens well maintained gives our clients a sense of pride and wellbeing — pride in their surroundings often translates to pride in themselves.

As many of us know, keeping a home clean can be challenging or simply a tiring task, even for those who are younger and able-bodied. Our domestic assistance team does an excellent job ensuring our clients have a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment. Over this period, we have welcomed more than 100 new clients to our cleaning services, and this growth would not have been possible without the incredible support and dedication of Poojan, Manik, and Lina.

Inviting someone into your home for regular cleaning can feel daunting at first, but once trust is established and results are seen, clients not only value the service but also look forward to the friendly conversation and connection with their cleaner.

While cleaning is the core service we provide, we also support meaningful social engagement for clients who may otherwise go days without seeing anyone.
